The Story Of Now: Drawing Class and Experience | Workshop with Sarah Nisbett

Find out how you can use drawing as a form of storytelling to help you find more meaning, joy and connection in your daily life - one line at a time.

Local author and artist Sarah Nisbett will teach us her favorite techniques for translating the world around you into quick works of art and create evocative and storied images using the simple tools of just a pen and paper.

Focusing on drawing as a form of storytelling, you’ll learn how to see the infinite stories that surround you and how to quickly and easily translate them into expressive illustrations drawn in-the-moment.

We’ll also explore how this super accessible creative practice can have profound effects on our experience of the world, using our sketchbooks as a reminder to look for the extraordinary in the everyday as you turn the people, places and things you see “on the way” (or just sitting at home) into works of art.

Artists of all levels welcome - from “never tried” to “draw everyday!”
